In the last half of the show season I often find myself with too many things to do, and a limited number of hours to do them in. Family time is precious and definitely comes in at the top of the list. There are still a couple of applications that need to be finished, a client that needs something for a wedding gift, the gate in the backyard that needs to be fixed, and work for the next show, that somehow must make the UPS pickup at the end of the week. Working at night is not my favorite, but the barn is always still and cool. The owl sits up on her rafter at the peak of the roof, the mice scurry around finding treasures that have fallen into the cracks, and I weld or rivet to the sounds of my local radio station.
